Welcome to Montreal...

This is just the beginning...

Today as I left work I received a text message from Courtney informing me that her pot seeking antics of the day had proved unsuccessful. I lashed into action bringing down with me a fury of pot locating action! "To the metro I say!"
Down in the metro this guy from my work was hopelessly trying to romance yet another girl from work... Now don't get me wrong, he is definently a nice guys but remember how it goes, "Nice guys always lose." Let's pray that is not the case or both I and he are looking towards a grim horizon... So we get talking I come over to say "Hi" because i genuinely think he's a friendly person and I don't' mind them friendly... It's when they smile too much, those are the ones you gotta watch out for... So we got talking he asked me what was planned for the night,
"Uhhh.. Well I haveta find some pot then go home, maybe smoke it and go to sleep." Now this probably came sounding to him about as interesting as his home made 'vanilla ice cream with smartie' bowls he so thoroughly enjoys on his nights alone in Montreal -- a rather humorous anecdote I must admit.
"There like blizzards or something... but.. cheaper..."
So at his stop on the orange line he invited me to come search for pot near the mountain, where he lives, I obliged thinking something like,
"Hooray! Another party joins the search! We can double our pot seeking efficiency at this rate!!!"
After showing me his house, offering to cook me chicken, getting me some white milk, demoing the CD of the acapella group he's in (he's a bass) and generally more chit chat we resumed the adventure; my hope of success at this point dwindling with the passing minute. Not only did this guy complete my mission (and from preppy kids too!!) he offered to walk me all the way to Atwater so I could catch the night bus home. (probably about a 45 minute walk or more) I was actually having fun with this kid but logic gave way to me catching the last metro home and cutting this strange but suprisingly comfortable meeting to a more abrupt close. We'll have to continue this adventure some other time I think we'll both agree on that.

So I took the last metro home...

At the bus stop I had to wait 20 minutes for my bus and I, as per usual when I have to wait for a long time at the bus stop, busted out my poi. I attracted the attention of a young (my age or slightly older) sketch case, a nice sketch case at that but very pleasantly sketchy. My kind of person, I bathe in sketch. He wanted to try my poi with very little success, not suprising after I learned that he was on day #2 and wanted to borrow my lighter to smoke crack. I lent him the lighter. Nice guy, pleasant but like so many of my meth addicted friends at home, hopelessly addicted to a drug. We talked for 10 minutes and rode the same bus home. We live on the same street and he went on to tell me that he strips at some place in the gay village and I could make over $200 a night. He wasn't pushy or anything just making conversation, I actually enjoyed his company somewhat. I can relate to him oddly enough... He mentioned he had determined I was gay, I asked and he told me he's bi. You'd think I was crazy if I told you how many men here simply have no sexual preference... it's all just sex here. I wished him well, I kinda hope I see him around...

I got home.

I don't know if you like poetry...

I know, I know... You don't want to hear poetry.. Who the hell reads poetry? Poetry is for angsty teenagers... Well recently I dug up this gem, a relic from my poetry writing days. It is originally titled "Sad Men" but that is somewhat of an uninspired title so through some clever editing by Yours Truely, I fixed it up a bit.. Turn your litso this way, open your glazzies and viddy this horrorshow piece of.. work?

Two words... Awe Inspiring. Yes brothers, take this new found knowledge and spend it wisely, never let anyone tell you otherwise. They're just trying to poison your mind, like mine is already poisoned...

Whatever.

Anyway today is a strange day for me... a lot of stuff is happening to and in me and I wish I had Jer here for support... I need someone to keep me on the path and i dunno.. I have these sick inner desires that I hate driving me to do things I despise... Not to be too specific. My head is a fucking warzone and I don't know if I'll like the hardened person that emerges when the gunfire ceases and the machine guns stop the bloody rage of terror... Not to be overly metaphorical.

There is no food here, I have money just no time to buy groceries. I haven't eaten anything of substance in prolly 48 hours or so... Not drugs or anything I just down all these energy drinks to keep me going in my job and I don't really feel hungry.. Yeah I should stop that...

And I just figured out why I feel so crappy so I'll stop with the boo hoo hooing *wink*

I love you guys and I don't know what's gonna happen but Jeremy, if you read this, I really don't want our paths to separate... Who is here for me but you? I love you kiddo =D

OMG THIS POST IS SO EMO AAAARRRGGGHHH!!!!

Clothes Out To Dry...

Today was a strange day... Since Courtney's mom ans Sin moved in the vibe is definently different and we're getting a little panicky about who's gonna pay for what and it's all kinda up in the air.

Me and Courtney were a little shaky when we left the house this morning. She had to go drop off some books at the library and I had to replace my bankcard so we embarked downtown for a small adventure. The day turned out okay (It's it's my only day off in 9 days) and things are cool again. I can't wait to get home I've been looking at dates to book my plane ticket home!! =D Oooh I miss you children soooo much and I can't wait to give you all some long deserved hugs

Awwww...

More fun around the corner!

Meanwhile... We hung clothes to dry in our backyard hehehe!! I feel so ghetto!

3rd party...

So I'm busy working mass hours at my new job. I've been picking up mass shifts and am at the place for massive amounts of time! In my mass boredom I been reading logic puzzles and learning to type using homerow keyboarding. I typed this whole thing using homerow! I'm slowly improving.. Boy, relay work is the wierdest job.

"Hello this is operator xxxxxx from the Relay Service (I cannot disclose my identity, its in my contract), I have someone on the line who wishes to communicate with you, have you ever done a relay call before?"
"Let me explain, I am a Relay Service Operator, the person on the line needs my assistance to communicate over the telephone. For this conversation I will type everything you say. I will voice what the caller types. When you hear me say "Go Ahead" please respond by speaking slowly and speak as if you are talking directly to the caller. Say "Go Ahead" when you are finished speaking. Do you understand?"

I am a Relay Service Operator. I'm a neutral third party to hundreds of conversations. From stupid pranks, to tech support, to Social Security to Old Ladies chatting about old times, to incredibly awkward situations, preteen relationship talks, boys who sit on the phone and say "Suck my dick" "No you suck my dick faggot" via my voice (why don't they just suck each others dicks and get it over with?), to Gay love quadrangles (complete with crying and a broken up gay marriage engagement), every kind of call ever placed over the telephone.

The service is designed for the deaf and hard of hearing and those who cannot speak. Weird eh? I've done my 3 weeks training and have been on the floor for a week and what a week its been...

Exhausting....

Off to bed with me then! Got to be gettin up soon... =( To many early days... That'll change soon though -> later shifts next 2 weeks.

Love you kids!

Festival Of Trees... Oh Festival Of Trees...

So all Summer long every Sunday in the park in the glaring summer heat, an impromptu festival of people gather at Mount Royal for the biggest unorganized event in North America. It's called The Tam-tams and it's basically a huge hippy fest with drum circles, dancers (dancing to the drums), poi spinners, tons of jugglers, sketchy homeless pot dealers and a lot of people just chilling out on the grass watching all this crazy shit. It's pretty chill. Turned my bad day into a sketch day which is always a good thing!! Check out these fun filled pictures!

Everyone gathers by this big monument thing in a big park on the side of the mountain.
Hazza! We found cool people (whom we met at a rave originally) to chill with!

Rows of vendors selling... hippie stuff...

Stuff.

More Stuff.

Crazy amounts of people just "show up" for this thing!
(one of the side drum circles in background, we danced there!)

Crowd with Courtney chillaxing

Is that a camera!?

Us dancing in the dirt pit!! Awesome!

Smiles All around! Hahaha!

Forceful Plant "Adoption"...

So long story short (due to time constraints and whatnot) We wanted plants to beautify our apartment. We are poor. One plus one equals three and so we decided to buy cheap flower pots from Walmart and then just steal (we prefer the term "adopt) plants off rich peoples lawns. This was a tactic similar to our Christmas tree attaining antics last Christmas (we chopped it down at 4am from the walmart parking lot, stuffed it in Courtney's mom's station wagon and decked the halls) We found dirt alright but the plants are proving to be an issue -- not only that, the flowers we did find our cat eats and they died.

Fin.

And for your enjoyment or something...

Dirt. Stolen. The way I like it.

Me. Before my hair cut. Man I needed it. I trust you'll agree. Whatever.

Cat. In the window. It wants out. Enough fragment sentences. Now.

A tale of a bridge...

Yup. Still alive. Still bored. Courtney -- still studying. I recently have become fascinated with physics games (I even made a couple once.. balls bouncing off curved surfaces and the like, it was to become a minigolf game but only ever saw the alpha stages... also one simulating gravity and wind resistance ect...) so I've discovered this wonderful little game called bridge builder. You make bridges and watch your beautiful creations collapse in real time as you run a train across them!! Succeed and you move to the next level. Let me show you the sad story of one of my yet unfinished creations...

Here we see "edit mode" where I'm working on a crazy complicated double arch bridge to span a massive gap. I've learned there are three types of bridges : Truss bridges (which span small distances), arch bridges (bigger distances) and suspension bridges (very big distances)

So for the sake of this example I'm going to scrap my amazing bridge and watch it burn. I press test and immediately I'm made aware that my bridge is under immense stress! (Being unfinished) It might snap!

Oh my! A few critical beams have snapped!!

The bridge begins plummeting into the channel below, all in real time!

More plummeting...

ARG!! Snappy snap crap.. Pop... It plunges into the murky depths!

Floats for a few seconds...

Before coming to rest on the (ocean?) floor. It will sleep with the fishies!!

But wait!!! You can build your own disaster! You can even launch trains into the murky depths!! This is hours of wasted time waiting to happen!! Go-go gadget download!!!

And hey when you get bored of that.. Check out the tower of goo!!! For another few minutes of good clean gooey fun!!

Oh how words fail me now...

So much to say and such petty words with which to say it. Well they say the eyes are the window to the soul so here you go.. Take a look...

That is me after work on my long commute back home. I am tired.. Not so much physically as mentally... These people at my work are pretentious and i have to be always on my toes to not be made a fool of. It gets trying. *sigh*

Anyway yesterday I had a little meltdown and well... I miss you Jeremy. I wish you were here to talk to because at times like that only you understand a word that comes out of my mouth. I don't know what I'm going to do.. It seems inevitable that we should end up separated and... Well I don't know how to deal with it.

On a completely different note!!! Something MAD sketchy happened!! Someone (or something???) was in our bedroom while we were sleeping. There is a door in our bedroom to the rear balcony (which has stairs down) and this is the sight we awoke to...

The door has both a lock (which we are more than 100% sure WAS infact locked) AND one of those slidey chains which was undone!!! We tried all our keys and none of them fit the lock and i went outside and it was possible for someone to manouver the chain open from the outside (which i immediately fixed) Nothing was missing despite the fact that we had laptops, computer equipment and $500 sitting on the kitchen table... So we are very sketched out. We told the landlord and we're changing the locks. Stalker? Maybe.. it seems i attract psychos. (Haha to all of you kids :p)

Anyway I love you guys so much (especially you Dave, Vicky, Brandon and Jer) remember that time with that stuff? hahaha... good times...

L8r skaterz!

New Job! New Job! Lalalala-lala!

Yay! No pictures today (sorry I'm lazy and it's WAYY to late to be awake, I just had to cook a lunch for tomorrow) but I have some great news!

I started my new job and it's hella spatulariffic! It's working as a communications assistant doing relay work over the phone for the hearing/speech impaired =D It's a really nice place and maybe I'll actually have some kind of... What do you humans call it... j0b SaTiSF@cti0N?

Anyway hopefully soon I can get pics...

Better news: It looks like my pay period will line up in such a way that I'll have 2 consecutive weeks of pay! Hurray for not being completely penniless! We can fill our fridge again!

It is a day of much rejoicing.
Stand and sing with me won't you?

P.S. To top it all of, yes kids, I finally stopped complaining and got my hair cut by this girl Julia (from Massachusetts)... Courtney touched up the back and I like my hair once again. Arn't you SOO excited.. anyway maybe I'll show u pictures but maybe that's to boring... dot dot dot...

A Series of Unfortunate Events...

It was a sunny day, I awoke @ 1pm and decided a walk in the sunshine was in order. We decided we'd try to have some fun on our Saturday. Despite our valient efforts @ turing the mundane day into a crazy adventure, we returned home empty handed and unfullfilled. We attempted to colour Courtney's hair (step 3 of 3) Our plans seem to be foiled by Courtney's ruthless, cunning hair... Alas, the day it seems, was a complete failure.

Let the pictures tell our sad, sad tale of woe.

This is the "fat wigger guy." He comes out-of-the-box equipped with a horrible dollar store cross "bling"(and I use that term loosely), and some shoes with american dollar bills printed across the fabric. We laughed and laughed, then tooka picture for all to enjoy the sad attempt at wiggerness.

Have a good night and God bless Wiggermerica.
